The National Anti-Vivisection Society, founded in 1875, is the world’s first body to challenge the use of animals in research and continues to lead the campaign today. NAVS has spearheaded the adoption of advanced, non-animal methods; exposed laboratory animal suffering and breaches of regulations with our undercover investigations; funded non-animal scientific and medical research; educated public and media about the flaws of animal research and provided legislators detailed briefings to support the replacement of animals in research with advanced methods.
IF YOU WANT THE NAVS TO CONTINUE TO FIGHT AGAINST ANIMAL EXPERIMENTATION AND SAVE THOUSANDS OF ANIMALS THEN WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP!
There are lots of ways that you can help, have fun doing it, meet like-minded people, and recruit more supporters for the NAVS
There are a number of ways you can help to raise awareness and funds for animals – why not consider doing a sponsored event?
From dog walking to sky diving, sponsored clean ups in local wildlife areas, or joining a sponsored event on the internet, such as road trips and marathons – you can have fun and raise much needed funds for animals. For more inspiration, click here
Our street teams are active throughout the year. Street campaigns with tables and displays, or just standing in a busy area collecting funds, are the foundation of public awareness of animals in experimentation.
Hitting the streets makes a very real difference. To take part in a street collection, or to find out more, call us on 020 7630 3340 or email us here

Raise funds for the NAVS by sending us your old stamps.
How about arranging a house party to raise funds? Parties or house gatherings are a great way to bring together people who want to help animals, and any funds you raise can help animals, too. Local businesses are often willing to donate gifts for raffles, or auctions.
Bake Sale – organise a ‘bake sale’ and get your friends to contribute cakes, flans, breads and other easily portable food for people to buy, raising funds for the animals.
Local scouts or girl guides – ask them to spend a day packing in the local supermarkets or doing odd jobs for neighbours
Ask local musicians to do a benefit night for help fight against animal experimentation!
Car Boot Sale or Garage Clearance – you and your friends could organise a car boot sale or garage clearance, all funds for the animals.
Thank you for caring about those who cannot speak for themselves.
