Spanish lab monkey dealer exposed: video gallery

An investigation by the NAVS has revealed shocking scenes inside a huge facility in Tarragona, Spain, that imports monkeys from Mauritius and distributes them around the world for experiments.

Isolated and confined life at the Spanish holding facility is a far cry from the wild. These sociable monkeys are locked alone in tiny, barren cages, some with barely room to move.

Living in fear these terrified monkeys have nowhere to run as they are caught, dragged out of cages and swung back and forth by their tails. As the workers restrain the monkeys for routine painful procedures, the others can only watch in fear. They will be next.
