MEPs back campaign to end primate tests across Europe

393 MEPs have signed our Written Declaration which is before the uropean Parliament. This calls for urgent action to end experiments on wild caught monkeys and chimpanzees, and for a timetable to be set to end all primate experiments across Europe. Signatories include MEPs from each EU member state and from every political persuasion including: Michel ROCARD, former French Prime Minister; Anneli JÄÄTTEENMÄKI, former Finnish Prime Minister; John BOWIS, former British Health Minister; Joseph DAUL, President of the EPP-ED Group; Monica FRASSONI, co-President of the Green/EFA Group; Eva-Britt SVENSSON, Vice-President of the GUE/NGL Group; Jens-Peter BONDE, co-President of the ID Group; Cristiana MUSCARDINI, co-President of the UEN Group.
