Would you take a drug that has been tested on animals?
We are not opposed to medicine - we are opposed to animal testing.
Our supporters would prefer to use a drug that has been tested in a way that is more relevant to humans - using human-based non-animal methods such as the advanced techniques we support through the Lord Dowding Fund For Humane Research. Please see the LDF section for more details.
However because we object to the way that drugs are tested does not mean that we are advising people not to take them when prescribed by a doctor.
We are saying that drugs can be tested more accurately without misleading animal tests.
